Swing Granulator Introduction

YK series laboratory swing granulators are usually the key equipment of the instant granule production line. The laboratory pellet production line includes the following equipment: Laboratory high shear granulator, Laboratory swing granulators, Laboratory dryer (laboratory hot air oven, laboratory vacuum shelf dryer), and Laboratory powder shifter. This laboratory production line can make the dry powder into uniform and instant granules. If the customer wants to make the final pellets into a ball shape, the wet pellets will be sent to the QL pelletizer to obtain wet pellets and dried by a dryer.

Hywell Machinery also has an industrial oscillating granulator if a high-volume granulator is required.

Swing Granulators Description

The Swing Granulator has one rotor, which oscillates on a horizontal axis. There is one screen of your required mesh size mounted at the bottom of the rotor which can be removed and remounted easily; its tension is also adjustable. The product is loaded from the top through the infeed hopper, and the material falls on the rotor blade. The particles are broken down by a set the oscillating rotors as it moves from side to side. The sharp edges on the rotor, the oscillating movement of the rotor, and the subsequent pressure of the product against the screen allow the size reduction of the granular material to take place as the material gets pushed through the screen mesh. (multiple screens available of various mesh sizes).

The driving mechanism of the lab swing granulator is totally enclosed in the machine body and its lubrication system improves the lifetime of the mechanical components. How do the Laboratory Swing Granulators Works

The lab swing granulator is mainly composed of a hopper, a drum, a screen, etc. The rotating drum is installed under the hopper, and there are sealed end covers at the front and rear. The rotating drum can be removed and cleaned at any time, as long as the front adjusting screw and front cover are removed Remove the three screws from the front end cover, and then the roller can be taken out.

Laboratory swing granulator uses mechanical transmission to make the cage drum rotor reciprocate to perform forced granulation or collision crushing of the material. The gap between the screen and the rotating cage is controlled and the granules are extruded. Its production capacity is as follows The moisture, type, viscosity, and mesh of the material vary, and different particle sizes can be obtained by changing the aperture of different screens.
